Businesses along San Bruno Ave has been notified of the schedule, and construction activity around the school will continue to be coordinated. Homeowners and businesses shall have access to their driveways at all times.

Update 7-23-2025: Construction Road Closures on 7th Ave (between Angus Ave & Belle Air Elementary)

The City’s contractor, JMB Construction, Inc., will implement the following road closures in the 500 Block and 600 Block of 7th Avenue for Sewer Main Replacement Work as part of the ongoing Avenues 2-1 & 2-2 Sewer and Water Replacement Project for approximately 3 weeks (weather and subsurface conditions permitting).

Road closures will be implemented starting 7/23/2025 to early September during working hours from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday in segments:

          • First Segment: 7th Avenue from Angus Avenue to 5th Avenue

          • Second Segment: 7th Avenue from 5th Avenue to Belle Air School

          • Third Segment: 7th Avenue from Angus Avenue to the middle of the 600 block of 7th Avenue

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained.

Please be aware that driveway access for residents of the 500 Block and 600 Block during work hours from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday may be delayed if steel plating is required.

Overview:
Project increases the capacity and address the aging condition of the sewer and water mains. The project consists of installing approximately 13,100 feet of sewer pipeline within various streets including 2nd, 3rd, 4th 5th, 6th and 7th Avenues, San Bruno Avenue and Pine Street; and approximately 1,700 feet of water pipeline on Easton Avenue between Forest Lane and San Bruno Avenue, and between 1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue. After the pipelines have been replaced, accessible curb ramps will be installed, and the pavement will be rehabilitated.
