Fireworks Stand Permits

The City of San Bruno Municipal Code allows by special permit, the sale of “Safe and Sane” fireworks at temporary fireworks stands operated by non-profit organizations serving San Bruno Residents, from noon until 8 pm June 28th and from June 29th through July 4th from 10 am to 8 pm. The non-profit organizations are approved by a City Council Sub-Committee and meet the requirements of Resolution 2008-67 (PDF) and Ordinance No. 1840 (PDF).

Contact the City Clerk’s Office at 650-616-7070 or by email for information on applying for a temporary fireworks stand. Application packets are available each year on April 1st, and must be turned into the clerk’s office no later than May 1st.
