Homelessness represents one of the greatest social challenges of our time, and addressing it requires a tremendous effort to balance the public safety needs of our community with our responsibility to care for our unhoused population. In San Bruno, we achieve this through a housing first focus, which aims to enhance the safety and beauty of our community through policies and procedures that get unhoused people into stable housing, and connected with the supportive services they need.
