San Bruno Municipal Cable TV - Comcast Sports CA Channel

SAN BRUNO, CA--San Bruno Municipal Cable TV is in negotiations with Comcast
SportsNet for the renewal of its carriage agreement for the Comcast SportsNet Bay
Area ("Bay Area") channel. Comcast SportsNet has temporarily extended the
agreement for the Bay Area channel through June 30, 2009 while negotiations continue.

The Bay Area channel has been the home for the games from the Giants, Athletics,
Warriors and Sharks. However, Comcast SportsNet has announced that beginning
January 2009 only the games from the Giants and Warriors will be carried on the Bay
Area channel, and the games from the Athletics and Sharks will be split off to Comcast
SportsNet California ('California"), a new channel that San Bruno Cable currently does
not carry. In addition to this reduction in programming, Comcast SportsNet has
proposed a license fee rate increase of 40% for the Bay Area channel. This proposed
rate increase on the Bay Area channel combined with the proposed addition the
California channel is expected to increase San Bruno Cable's total license fee payable
to Comcast SportsNet by more than 130% over last year.

The significant programming change and the magnitude of the proposed rate increase
has caused the negotiations to be protracted. However, San Bruno Cable is working
hard and remains optimistic that a reasonable agreement can be reached with Comcast
SportsNet so that the A's and Shark's fans can continue to enjoy their favorite sports
teams on San Bruno Cable.

The Bay Area channel will continue to feature the Sharks through the end of the ongoing season, but the Athletics are no longer available on the Bay Area channel.
However, diehard baseball fans can catch all the baseball action on MLB Extra Innings,
which is now available through San Bruno Cable. Visit for
more information.
