DNS Virus - 4/26/2012

You may have heard of a virus that has infected millions of computers worldwide, with half a million here in the US alone. The virus was designed to change how a PC finds Websites so that when a Web address was typed in a browser, it would take the user to servers operated by hackers.

The good news is the FBI found and arrested the hackers in November of last year, and they have control of the servers that were redirecting the Web requests. However, those servers will be taken offline on July 9th, which means that if your computer was infected, your PC would no longer be able to surf the Web after that time, until the virus is removed.

There is a simple way to see if your PC is infected. Just click to test with the following link: http://www.dns-ok.us/
